Gery Wilde, president and owner, obtained his degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. As a registered engineer, he uses his expertise to build homes with quality green construction, energy efficiency, low maintenance, and unique designs. Each home is constructed in harmony with its environment achieves a high 4 or 5 in Green Builder Ranking.
Wilde Custom Homes builds quality homes and remodel projects in Westlake Hills, Barton Creek, Tarrytown, Lake Austin, Lake Travis and surrounding Austin areas. Gery contracts with the best subcontractors in the area and demands exceptional performance and workmanship in each home. Job-sites are maintained daily and work safety is a high priority. Communication and coordination of the selection process is streamlined with an on-line interactive interface with each homeowner. Each home is personally managed by Gery and his Project Managers.
Today, Gery is recognized as one of Austin's finest home builders. Memberships include the Home Builders Association of Austin, the Custom Builder's Council, the Austin Green Building program and the American Society of Civil Engineers. Wilde Custom Homes has participated is several past HBA-Parade of Homes and was honored by Best Home Award in the 1996 Parade of Homes. Additionally, Wilde Custom Homes has received several MAX awards for best Custom Home product design in several high end categories.
